This golden turmeric smoothie tastes like sunshine! I am not always the biggest fan of fruity smoothies. I like things that are more like a milkshake, but I really like this with its mixture of frozen mango and pineapple. Turmeric is such a wonderful spice, and it creates an amazing color. I’ve really been on a kick lately to make bright, bold gorgeous food. I want that to also be reflected in my photos. So, I’ve decided to try to create more of a distinct style in my photo editing and styling. It’s one thing I feel like I’ve gotten very comfortable with, and that is leading to some stagnation in my work. So, here we go! Golden Turmeric Smoothie time! This will give you energy, make your mind focused, and make you feel like sunlight.
Turmeric is such a powerful spice. It is anti-inflammatory and increases the antioxidant capacity of the body. Some of the properties of turmeric can help with cancer. It can “reduce angiogenesis (growth of new blood vessels in tumors), metastasis (spread of cancer), as well as contributing to the death of cancerous cells.” You should just add turmeric to everything. It is good for you and adds such a gorgeous color to things! It would also pair perfectly with our tofu scramble recipe!
Golden Apple Tumeric Oats (recipe by @twocityvegans ?) for breakfast this morning. Actually, I ran out of apples so I used a pear instead ? sooo yummy! And perfect for the weather we are having here, definitely feeling like autumn ? Also, I hope you guys don't mind the sunflower petals which I've been using in every photo ? I just love the vibrant yellow ?? Happy Monday! – Kyra ?
